In this video, Erica Lugbill, the owner of Lugbill Designs, a high-end residential remodelling and interior design firm in Chicago, explains how to install drapery panels and liners.
Some curtains are already lined. However others need separate liners and have to be installed on a double rod set. For pinch pleated curtains, place the drapery pins on each end and on each pleat. Make sure it won’t hook through the curtain so the metal pins are not showing.
Make sure you have the same number of rings on the rod as with the drapery pins. Lastly, hook the pins on the rings. You can adjust the height of the panel by moving the pins up or down.
